Preheat your oven to 375°F.
Take your crust dough out of the fridge. Lay some wax paper out on your surface or sprinkle some flour on a clean surface to roll your dough on.
Roll out your dough until it is 1/4 inch thick and large enough to line the bottom of your pie pan. Then transfer it into your pie pan. Cut off the excess pie dough spilling out of the pan. See image 6.
Next pour your pumpkin pie filling into your pie crust, smoothing the surface with a spoon. See image 7.
Finally, take a fork and score the edges of your pie crust. Then, using a brush, paint the edges of your pie crust with your egg wash. See image 7.
Place in the oven and bake for 50 minutes to 1 hr, until your top layer has started to brown. See image 8.
Cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
